Find a Show SD is a local event-discovery platform built for San Diego residents and visitors. Our mission is simple: make it effortless to find something worth showing up for tonight — live music, comedy, sports, trivia, festivals, markets, food & drink events, nightlife, family activities, theatre, and community happenings — all in one place.
What we do
- Map-based discovery. Users browse a live, interactive map of everything happening nearby, with filters for category, date, price, and distance.
- Verified venue profiles. Bars, breweries, concert halls, casinos, restaurants, and community spaces claim their page and publish their own schedules once approved.
- Direct ticket links. Each event links to the official ticketing source so users can buy tickets from the venue or authorized provider — never a third-party reseller.
- Community-driven. Venues and organizers submit their own events; admins review submissions for accuracy and legitimacy before anything goes live.
How ticketing partners fit in
When an event is sourced from an authorized ticketing partner, we display the factual event information (title, date, venue, performers, price range) and link directly to the partner's official event page for purchase. We do not resell tickets and never redirect users to unauthorized resellers. This keeps buyers on the official purchase path and attributes the sale to the partner.
